Who We Help

Adult care services

A little help makes a big difference

Our adult care flexible and focused entirely on your or your loved one’s needs.

Caremark Care Home provides ongoing personal support and assistance for adults in the comfort of their own home as often as it is needed. This could be anything from short daily visits through to 24-hour live-in support.

Our fully trained care assistants will work with you or your loved one to help make life that little bit easier, enabling you/them to live as independently as possible at home. We carry out more challenging tasks and assist with those that might require extra support. We offer a full spectrum of care to meet your or your family member’s individual needs.

Children and Young People Services

  • Caring for children and young people in their own home is always preferable

Our Care Home service supports children and young people in their homes, providing attentive day-to-day care, encouraging independence and establishing daily routines. There are many reasons a parent or carer and their child or young person might benefit from extra support at home, and Caremark’s care assistants can bring a raft of expertise and skills to any situation. Perhaps you’re going into hospital and your child or young person needs looking after while you’re away, or maybe your child or young person is recovering from an illness, has disabilities or behaviours that challenge and you need professional support and an extra pair of hands? Whatever the reason, our carers are professionally trained to provide the skilled services needed to protect and support children and young people through difficult times.

Elderly Care services

Helping you or your loved one stay independent for longer

Nowadays approaching old age and needing a hand with everyday life doesn’t have to end with a move into residential care. Our elderly care services offer dedicated support to enable older people to live as independently as possible, in their own homes, in the comfort of surroundings they know and love. Whether it’s extra help with housekeeping, preparing and cooking meals, personal care, getting around the house and avoiding falls, administering medication, or simply a friendly face and companionship, our carers know just how much or how little to step in with to support independent living. Best of all, we can be as flexible as you or your loved one needs us to be, changing with needs and requirements, from a half-an-hour weekly visit through to live-in day and nighttime support. Caremark’s elderly care and support services offer a convenient, popular and affordable alternative to residential care. In fact, for many residential care just isn’t a viable option, especially if you live with another person or have a pet to look after.

Care for adults with learning disabilities

  • Supporting people to live a full life

Just like everyone else, people with learning disabilities want to live as full and rewarding a life as possible, with choice and independence available to them. Our learning disability care at home is carefully curated to help you or your loved one achieve this. We understand that even the smallest amount of support can make a huge difference in improving self-esteem and independence, and our professional care assistants have the specialist knowledge and extensive practical experience to support those with many different aspects of learning disabilities. Learning disabilities vary considerably from one person to another and may be mild, moderate or more complex. They also may be associated with physical or emotional issues. They can have an impact on behaviour, relationships, learning, communication and social skills. Regardless of the learning disability you or your family member experiences our highly trained carers are committed to providing person-centred support that focuses on skills, abilities and wellbeing, and enables you or your loved one to live a fulfilled life.

People with Physical Disabilities

Gain greater independence with home care

We believe that everyone has the right to live a life that is as full and active as possible. We work hard to empower people with physical disabilities, so that they can gain more independence and enjoy a better quality of life. Our service is tailor-made to suit individual needs and flexible so it can provide as much or as little help as is required. Whether you or your loved one’s physical disability is permanent or temporary our compassionate and experienced care assistants can support with daily tasks such as grooming, shopping and preparing meals; organising days out; and reducing hazards in the home to support safety. By visiting or living in your or your loved one’s home and supporting both physical and emotional needs our aim is to encourage greater independence.

End of Life Care

  • Compassionate end of life care

We provide sensitive, supportive and tailored end-of-life care, making it possible to pass away peacefully at home, rather than in a hospice or residential Care Home . If the option is available, most of us would choose to pass away peacefully in the familiar surroundings of our own home. It’s also important to us to be around those we love. Caremark's end-of-life care makes it possible to spend your precious last days or weeks at home. For someone with a terminal condition (and for family and friends) sensitive, personalised end-of-life care at home turns what can be a very distressing process into one that is comforting and dignified. And with Caremark carers looking after you or your loved one you can be assured that medication and other needs will be attended to as part of a pre-arranged care plan. Our carers focus on respecting dignity and privacy and will work with you and your family to understand specific needs and wishes.
